Step 1: Marking and Positioning

Step 2: Install Hangers and Keels
Use φ8 fully threaded hanger rods. Use dedicated U-baffle keels (supplied by the manufacturer). After installation, the keels must be leveled with an error ≤2mm.
Step 3: Install U-Baffles
Starting from one end, insert the U-baffle into the keel slot, gently push in, and lock. Note: Joint positions of the baffles should be staggered to avoid continuous seams that affect aesthetics.
Step 4: Adjust and Fix
Every 10 meters, check straightness with a line, adjust the spacing (designed spacing 100mm for this project), and finally fix both ends with self-tapping screws.
Step 5: Coordinate with MEP Finishing
Reserve openings in advance for vents, lights, etc. After installation, use the manufacturer's special edge trim to finish.

Results

After completion, the U-baffle ceiling showed smooth lines and a strong sense of space. Paired with light-colored flooring and warm lighting, the overall look is very modern. The owner reported that through the hollow layer of the U-baffle and the reflective insulation layer above, summer air conditioning energy consumption was about 15% lower than expected.
